TripAdvisor Review “This was our first time visiting Tidbinbilla, and it was fantastic …. beautiful camping under a bright, starry sky in such a luxury tent. All our needs were catered to and the kids had a great time sitting by the fire, toasting marshmallows and making damper. The tours were excellent and just the right length.”

A fully supported nature immersion with amazing wildlife encounters. Quality educators including indigenous rangers and experienced outdoor guides. Quality glamping tents with luxurious extras including hot water bottles, warm doonas, soft pillows, throws, rugs and solar lights………Simply didn’t want it to end. Memories to last a life time!
We loved every minute of our mini holiday from the five star appointed tents to the fantastic service provided by the Wildfest Team and Tidbinbilla Rangers.
Had the best time during the October school holidays ‘Glamping’ at Tidbinbilla.
Highlights of the stay included the Indigenous bush tour and platypus spotting in the sanctuary. Gourmet dinner with local Canberra wines topped off a magical experience – thanks Amanda.
This was a great experience for the whole family! All the activities were thoroughly enjoyable, allowing us access to Tidbinbilla outside public times and were all led by knowledgeable, passionate and friendly ACT Parks staff. Our camp hosts were warm & welcoming, ensuring we were very well looked after. Our glamping tent was gorgeous – plenty of homely comforts and blankets for the cool weather – even a hot water bottle! Thanks Wildfest for a fabulous family experience! We highly recommend!
Highly recommended for families looking to go camping in style. Plenty of activities for the kids and spending time in the park to see the other attractions are a must. The Wildfest team and the Rangers are all fantastic and it was a highlight of the school holidays for the kids. Thoroughly enjoyable and the highest rating fully deserved.
Camping – the best way
So much fun had by my family and our friends, also with two primary school aged children. I loved the indigenous bush-hacks, great wine and generous delicious food offerings. Kids loved the hi-tech nature watching, toasting marshmallows and waking up to the kangaroos. Then there were the tents – so comfy without losing that “oh it’s fresh out there feeling!” Nice addition of mirror to fix “bed hair” before a welcome coffee in the morning. Thanks Amanda and the WILDfest team. You are a class act!
Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve was a beautiful setting for our Wildfest glamping experience. The accommodation was very comfortable and the food and wine excellent and plentiful. So much more than a camping experience. Both kids and adults loved the Ranger led activities which were varied and interesting. The Rangers themselves were fantastic, so passionate and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and saw a variety of wildlife from Platypus and Potoroos to Koalas and Kangaroos. The kids loved the after-dark fun around the fire and it was great to see them all toasting marshmallows and playing hide and seek with torches around the camp. I think they all left wanting to be Rangers. Finally, this experience was made all the more enjoyable and hassle-free by the Wildfest staff who looked after us with a relaxed, can-do and no-fuss attitude.
Congrats Amanda Fry! It looks awesome! Having the pleasure of staying at one of your glamping retreats, I can vouch for what wonderful, unique experiences you dish up.
