For over 25 years Mike Hayes has been a lecturer, presenter and facilitator of personal training courses, corporate leadership programs and experiential programs to corporate entities and elite sporting teams.
His experience, knowledge and the unique ability to combine holistic welfare with outdoor training environments presents the perfect platform to enhance group cohesion, cultural change and personal growth within a corporate and sporting team environment.
With a demonstrated history of working with elite athletes, professional teams and corporations Mike has been a senior lecturer at the Australian Institute of Fitness educating Personal Trainers in the Cert lll, Cert IV and Master Trainers accreditation for over 20 years. Along with his Bachelor of Sports Science in Exercise Physiology/Biomechanics and Sport Psychology and ‘on the job’ experience he is a leader in his field in Australia.
Mike founded Wilderness Experience Training more than two decades ago and he is showing no signs of slowing down. WET is a leading provider of corporate experiential training for companies, and sporting teams who in the last 3 years has introduced a new program that incorporates ‘Rights of Passage’ work for young people, single mums with teenage boys, father/son and mother/daughter programs. Now Mike can cater for personal training groups and family groups as well.
